I don't know about you but when I look in the mirror every mornign or evening I see more grey coming in every quickly. I have thought about thet grey hair and why the reasons for them are but to no avail. I could blame it on the 3 kids or the fact that we are in the process of planting a church. I do know one thing whether the hair is grey or the skin is drooping. The experiences that we are having rigth now I would not trade in for the world. We are living the what some have called for us the greatest days of our lives. I have often thought what is it that brought me to this point and the one thing that comes to mind is the fact that God has been placed at the helm of my life and in that process He has been and continues to challenge me to develop more, give more and ultimately live more. See it really isn't about grey hair or that cool spiked blonde hair that some are wearing. What it has to do with is a willigness to take a risk and allow God to show up in the midst of that risk. As a leader and a church I stand at that point again where people are saying Matthew you cannot do that and you really shouldn't. You know what I think? I think God has go tthis covered so I once again walk into a part of my journey with a few faithful by my side looking for what the next piece of our own promised land will look like.

Welcome to my world
Well over the past few months people have been asking why in the world are you not blogging? The answer was simple not real sure where I would go with that but here we are. Starting my blogging world. So I guess over the coming days you will begin to hear about life in the mind of Matthew Trexler. The challenge will be that I have absolutely 100% horrible grammar and I am sure that many of you will enjoy the typos that you will find. But anyways hopefull you will enjoy what you read and maybe even be challenged by a thought or two. So here we go on my journey of blogging: on leadership, church planting, being a husband, dad and pastor.
